Have you ever heard about Hackathon?
A hackathon is a design sprint-like event in which computer programmers and others involved in software development, including graphic designers, project managers and others, often including subject-matter-experts, collaborate intensively on software projects.
The first step when organizing a hackathon is to determine the goals of the hackathon. It is very important to create a positive, collaborative environment for hackathon. The gatherings should encourage informal brainstorming ideas for new products, services and projects. Hackathons bring people with technical backgrounds together to form teams to solve a problem or develop new ideas. The word hackathon is portmanteau of the words hack, which means clever programmer, and marathon, an event marked by endurance.
Now when you have some imagination about hackathon we would like to introduce our team’s hackathon which was celebrated yesterday. Our team members was divided into 2 groups and was actively struggling to win.
